You can put this solution on YOUR website!
          n%2F5%22%22=%22%2217

The "5" is in the denominator and a denominator is
always DIVIDED.

We want to get rid of the DIVIDED "5", so there will
just be "n" left on the left side of the equation.

The opposite operation from DIVISION is MULTIPLICATION.

So if we MULTIPLY the left side by "5" it will cancel
out the DIVIDED "5", and just the "n" will be left.

However if we multiply the left side by "5", we must
also multiply the right side by 5.

So we start by writing this:

            n%2F5%22%22=%22%2217

and we copy it over, putting a MULTIPLIED "5" before both sides:

          5%22%22%2A%22%22n%2F5%22%22=%22%225%22%22%2A%22%2217

Now we copy it over cancelling the 5's on the left, like this:

          cross%285%29%22%22%2A%22%22n%2Fcross%285%29%22%22=%22%225%22%22%2A%22%2217

and then we copy that over multiplying the right side 5×17 = 85

and we write this last:

          n%22%22=%22%2285

The whole thing should look like this:

              n%2F5%22%22=%22%2217
           5%22%22%2A%22%22n%2F5%22%22=%22%225%22%22%2A%22%2217
          cross%285%29%22%22%2A%22%22n%2Fcross%285%29%22%22=%22%225%22%22%2A%22%2217
              n%22%22=%22%2285

if n/5=17, which inverse operation will find n?
-------
The n is being divided by 5.
The inverse of division is multiplication.
----
Multiply both sides by 5 to get:
5(n/5) = 5*17
n = 85
