Farmer DATA:
time = 4 days/job ; rate = 1/4 job/day
-----
Hired DATA:
time = 6 days/job ; rate = 1/6 job/day
----
Together DATA:
time = x days/job ; rate = 1/x job/day
----------------
Equation:
rate + rate = together rate
1/4 + 1/6 = 1/x
6x + 4x = 24
10x = 24
x = 2.4 hours (time to do the job together)
