Your total from the first 4 tests
was 4 x 76 = 304
The total you would require to
achieve to get an average of 77
would be 5 x 77 = 385
Therefore the score you would have to obtain
would be 385 - 304 = 81

If you want to average 77, your total points will need to be:

Averaging 76 on four tests, gives you a running total of
76%2A4
304
Subtract 304 from 385 to give you the score you'd need.
