You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The digits of the three digit number are three consecutive even integers. The middle digit is the least digit and the first digit is the greatest. If the number is divided by twice the sum of its digits, the quotient is 423/18. Find the number.
----
Hunderds digit: 2x+2
Tens digit::::: 2x-2
Units digit:::: 2x
Number: (2x+2)100 + (2x-2)10 + 2x = 222x + 180
----------
Equation:
(222x+180)/(2(6x)) = 423/18
-----
18(222x+180)= 12x(423)
3996x - 3240 = 5076x
--------
This work does not give a useful solution but
I'll send it so you can see how I interpreted
the problem statement.
