You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you stated the problem very cleanly, good for you
(1)/(x+5)+(3)/(x^(2)+x-20)=(2)/(x-4)
here we go
(1)/(x+5)+(3)/(x+5)(x-4) = (2)/(x-4) note that I factored the quadratic
multiply both sides of the = sign by (x+5)(x-4), and we get
(x-4)+3 = (2)(x+5)
x-1 = 2x+10
x=-11
