My answer is (3x+1)(x+1)/ (1x+1)(x-1)

My answer is (3x+1)(x+1)/ (1x+1)(x-1)

Factor to get:
=[(2x-1)(3x+1)/(2x-1)(x+1)]([(x+1)(x-1)/(x-1)(x-1)]
Cancel factors common to numerator and denominator, such as
(2x-1),(x+1),(x-1)
What is left is:
=(3x+1)/(x-1)
