You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I am not sure how I would subtract this problem:
3/4x^2y^3 - 1/6xy^3. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks
%283%2F4x%5E2y%5E3%29+-+%281%2F6xy%5E3%29 We can see that the Lowest Common Multiple(LCM) is 12x%5E2y%5E3. So we will multiply the numerator and denominator of each term by the LCM and this will give us a common denominator %2812x%5E2y%5E3%29 for each term:

simplifying we get:

%28%283%2A3%29-2x%29%2F12x%5E2y%5E3 or %289-2x%29%2F12x%5E2y%5E3

Hope this helps-----------------ptaylor
