Question 743927: Hi I'm Kelly and my question is, Use the properties of logarithms to condense the following logarithmic expression.
1/2logx + 4log2w + 4log3y - 3logz
I came out with log x^1/2 + log w^8 + log y^12 -log z^3
then for my final answer= log(x^1/2 w^8 y^12/ (with z^3 on the bottom)
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
condense the following logarithmic expression.
1/2logx + 4log2w + 4log3y - 3logz
I came out with log x^1/2 + log w^8 + log y^12 -log z^3
-----------
= log(x^(1/2) + log(16w^4) + log(81y^4) - log(z^3)
= log%281296%2Aw%5E4%2Asqrt%28x%29%2Ay%5E4%2Fz%5E3%29
then for my final answer= log(x^1/2 w^8 y^12/ (with z^3 on the bottom)
You treated 2w as if 2 was an exponent.
