Question 743444: Solve this equation graphically on the interval [0, 2π]. Sketch the graph and list the solutions.
sin x – 1 = cos x
sinx - 1 = cosx
<=> sinx - cosx = 1
<=> sqrt(2)sin(x - π/4) = 1
<=> sin(x - π/4) = 1/√2
<=> x - π/4 = π/4 + k2π ( k of Z )
<=> x - π/4 = π - π/4 + k2π
<=> x = k2π
<=> x = π + k2π
In [0 ; 2π ] => x = 0 ; π ; 2π
I have this so far but I don't know if it's correct and I don't know how to sketch the graph, please help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve this equation graphically on the interval [0, 2π]. Sketch the graph and list the solutions.
sin x – 1 = cos x
-------------------
Says to solve it graphically.
y = sin(x) - cos(x) - 1
--
dl the FREE graph software at
http://www.padowan.dk
------
Use Ins, enter sin(x) - cos(x) - 1
Set the x-axis to radians.
