You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming side 1 is the hypotenuse. Use Pythagoreans theorem to find the unknown side
a%5E2%2Bb%5E2=c%5E2Let c=17, a=8
8%5E2%2Bb%5E2=17%5E2
64%2Bb%5E2=289
b%5E2=289-64
sqrt%28b%5E2%29=sqrt%28225%29
b=15
So the unknown side x is 15
