You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hello,
Maybe writing 1/(x-3)/1(x+3)=5 like this will make more sense.
1/(x-3)divided by 1(x+3)=5
Now we can write it as:
1/(x-3) times 1/(x+3) = 5
This becomes:
1/(x+3)(x-3)=5
Multiply (x+3)(x-3)to get:
1=5(x+3)(x-3)or 5x^2 - 45
Add 45 to get:
5x^2 = 46
Divide by 5
x^2=46/5
Square root to get:
x = + and - sq rt 46/5
Got it?
