You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi,
For this problem we first need to combine our like terms with x. 4/9x plus x (1x)equals 13/9x, or 1 and 4/9x. Now all we need to do is multiply by 9/13(the reciprocal of 13/9) on both sides to cancel our fractions and get x by itself. When we multiply 10/9 times 9/13 we can cross simplify and cancel the 9 in each fraction. Now we can multiply to get x=10/13 as our final answer. Now to check, we plug in 10/13 in for x for 13/9x to get back our answer of 10/9. So our answer of x=10/13 is correct! Hope this helps and let me know of any more questions or comments.:)
