Question 740662: 2x^4-9x^2-x^3+4x-x^2
Break down into binomials that need to be multiplied together to get that. Ex of answer choice : (x-2)(x+2)(2x-1)(x-1)
The orginal problem was 2x^2(x^2-4)-x(x^2-4)+(4-x^2) but i broke it down to the problem above.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You made a small mistake somewhere.

+2x%5E2%28x%5E2-4%29-x%28x%5E2-4%29%2B%284-x%5E2%29
= 2x%5E2%28x%5E2-4%29-x%28x%5E2-4%29-%28x%5E2-4%29
=%28x%5E2-4%29%282x%5E2-x-1%29

Factor the TRINOMIAL into %282x%2B1%29%28x-1%29.

The fully factored polynomial is highlight%28%28x-2%29%28x%2B2%29%282x%2B1%29%28x-1%29%29.
Notice just the change in "sign" or into "addition" for 2x+1.
