Question 740258: We are doing exponents and roots in class. We are suppose to simplify the answers and leave no negative exponents or undone arithmetic. A problem I am having an issue with is
(2a-3b2)* 5a2b7/(2ab)-3
sorry that I can not make the exponents look smaller. But -3 after the a is an exponent, 2 after the b is an exponent, 2 after the a is an exponent, 7 after the b is an exponent, and the -3 after the (2ab) is a exponent. Anything you can do to explain would be appreciated! Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! *
distribute *
combine the exponents of like terms * *
distribute again * =
or we can just put it in the factored form
