You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the slope of the line that passes through (-3, -5) and (4, -2)?
AND how would i solve this. step-by-step help please.

Equation of a line: y=mx+b, m=slope, b=y-intercept
slope,m=∆y/∆x=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)=(-2-(-5))/(4-(-3))=(-2+5)/(4+3)=3/7
equation:
y=3x/7+b
solve for b using coordinates of one of the given points (4,-2)
-2=3*4/7+b
b=-2-12/7=-14/7-12/7=-26/7
equation of given line: y=3x/7-26/7
