a) log(25)=log(5^2)=2log(5)=1.39794
b) log(.2)=log(2/10)=log(1/5)=log(1)-log(5)=0-0.69897=-0.69897
c) log(.04)=log(4/100)=log(1/25)=log(1)-log(5^2)=0-2log(5)=-1.39794
