The side parallel to that one, also has a length of 16 cm,
and the length of each of the other two sides is xcm.
The perimeter (in cm) is
16%2Bx%2B16%2Bx=48 --> 32%2B2x=48 --> 2x=48-32 --> 2x=16 --> x=16%2F2 --> highlight%28x=8%29
The other side length is 8cm.
