Question 738802: I do not understand this problem... y= Log to the base 2(x+1)-3
I have to graph it.
I also ned to make a table. I started the table
x y
-1/2 -4
0 -3
9 -2
but thats all I have. I don't know how to find the next few coordintes.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y= Log to the base 2(x+1)-3
I have to graph it.
I also ned to make a table. I started the table
x y
-1/2 -4
0 -3
9 -2
but thats all I have. I don't know how to find the next few coordintes.
-----------------
y+=+log%282%2Cx%2B1%29+-+3
You can change the base to 10 and use a calculator.
y+=+log%28%28x%2B1%29%29%2Flog%282%29+-+3
A calculator is tedious, an Excel sheet is better (and you're less likely to make a mistake).

dl the FREE graph software at
http://www.padowan.dk
It will make a table, and do the graph.
