Question 738600: Hi I know that this is an easy question but I don't get it i've been stuck on this question for 4 hours it says "A student claims that the triangle is both obtuse and acute because it has an obtuse angle and an acute angle. What is wrong" And it shows an obtuse triangle with measures of 30 degrees 130 degrees and 20 degrees and I just can't figure out if it would be a obtuse scalene angle or am I supposed to add up the measures

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The definition of an acute triangle is a triangle with three acute angles.

The definition of an obtuse triangle is a triangle with one obtuse and two acute angles.

The student doesn't know the definition of an acute triangle.
