You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 2 intersecting circles.
1 circle is all vehicles that are vans
The 2nd circle is all vehicles that are red
------------
10 vehicles are outside these 2 circles, so
22 minus 10 is 12 vehicles that are inside
the 2 circles.
------------
The vehicles that are in the intersection of the circles
are counted twice: Once as being a van, and
again as being red.
------------
Instead of 8 plus 6 = 14 vehicles, there are
22 minus 10 = 12
So, I can say there are 6 that are vans, but not red ones,
there are 2 red vans, and there are 4 red vehicles
that are not vans, and 6 + 2 + 4 = 12, as it should be.
-------------
So the answer is 2 red vans
