Question 73793: Please help. I am not sure how to do this.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Write the equation of the line passing through each of the given pairs of points. Write your result in slope-intercept form, where possible.
(2,-3) and (2, 4)
Notice that the x values are the same in each point. If we were to plot them and connect them, we'd have a vertical line. This is a special case, the equation of a vertical line going through x=2 is highlight%28x=2%29
:
By the way the other special case is when the y's are the same. Say we had to write the equation of the line going through:
(-3,2) and (4,2)
If we were to plot them and connect them, we'd have a horizontal line going through y=2 and the equation would be "y=2".
Happy Calculating!!!
