You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area of a rectangle is length x width.

x * (4x+16) = 180

4x%5E2+%2B+16x+=+180

4x%5E2+%2B+16x+-+180+=+0

x%5E2+%2B+4x+-+45+=+0

(x+9)(x-5) = 0

x = -9 and x = 5

-9 gives negative values for length and width. In the real world objects don't have negative lengths and widths.

x=5 so the width is 5 and the length is 4(5)+16 = 36
