Parallel lines have the same slopes.
The slope intercept form of a line is: highlight%28y=mx%2Bb%29, where m=slope and (0,b) = y-inyetercept.
The line they gave us is: y=2/3x
Its slope is m=2/3, so any line parallel to this one will also have a slope of m=2/3.
