You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Another way to write ratio is as a fraction.

p/q = 3/4 and q/r = 12/13

How can you get the q in the first fraction to equal 12? Multiply that fraction by 3/3. 3/4 * 3/3 = 9/12. When q is 12, p is 9.

So the ratio of p/r = 9/13
