You can put this solution on YOUR website!
we'll start by writing the numbers with the units. If the units are the same we can ignore them. if they are different, ie pounds and pence or kilograms and grams, then we would have to make sure they are the same. But we are okay, they are all the same units in each part of the question.
then we divide the numbers by any common factors until we cannot get smaller numbers.
so back to the problem.
49p:63p units are the same so we ignore them, giving us
49:63
now we look for a common factor (a number that will go into both numbers)
they both divide by 7 (both in 7 times table) giving
7:9 for the small loaf to large loaf.

40kg:44kg ignore units
40:44
both divide by 4 (both in 4 times table) giving
10:11

660:750
both divide by 10, giving
66:75
both divide by 3. giving
22:25

1hour:2hours ignore the units
1:2
