For the questions use this data
state # of public secondary schools
florida- 456
georgia- 306
maine- 160
massachusetts- 363
north carolina- 376
new york- 935
rhode island- 54
virginia- 349
a. Find the mean, median, mode and standard deviation of the data. Round to the nearest hundredth if necessary.
b. Determine whether the data in the table appears to be positively skewed, negatively skewed, or normally distributed. Explain.
I found the mean to be 374.88 the median-356. I don't believe there is a mode because there are no repeating numbers. I am a little confused on how to find the standard variation. I think the graph might be normally distributed but I am not sure because the numbers are all over the place if you use them in the order they are given.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You are correct with the mean and median.
There is no mode.
Using my TI-84 I get std = 260.5
-------
I think you could find the std using a stat site online.
Cheers,
Stan H.
