Question 734611: hello. i need to prove the following but i do not know how to go about it:
cosx(cosx+1)+sin^2x=(sin x+tanx)/tanx
if you can provide me with a step by step response i would appreciate it. i have attempted it but i cannot get the two sides to be the same.
thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cosx(cosx+1)+sin^2x=(sin x+tanx)/tanx
cos^2 + cos + sin^2 = sin*cot + 1
cos + 1 = cos + 1
