Please help me solve this problem:
log2[x(x+2)/3]=4
log2[x(x+2)/3]=log2(16)
x(x+2)/3=16
x^2+2x=48
x^2+2x-48=0
(x+8)(x-6)=0
x=-8 (reject, (x+2)>0)
or
x=6
