There is  NO  equation in your post.

What you mistakenly call as  " equation ",  in reality is an  " expression ".

So,  an  expression  is the correct term for your object in  Math.

Regarding expressions,  the term  " solve "  is never used.

Instead,  the term  " simplify "  is used.

Or,  alternatively,  the term  " evaluate ".

But not  " solve ".
