Because the angle opposite the 16 in side
must be greater than 90 degrees for the
triangle to be obtuse.
For now, call the 16 in side +x+
If the opposite angle was exactly 90 degrees, then
+10%5E2+%2B+12%5E2+=+x%5E2+
+100+%2B+144+=+x%5E2+
+x%5E2+=+244+
+x+=+sqrt%28+244+%29+
+x+=+15.62+
This is less than +16+, so the angle opposite
the +16+ in side must be greater than 90 degrees

Because the square of the longest side is GREATER than the sum of the squares of the other two sides. (LESS -> Acute, EQUAL -> Right)

BECAUSE,ONLY A SINGLE ANGLE IN A TRIANGLE CAN BE OBTUSE,ALSO IT CAN ONLY HAVE ONE ANGLE THAT MEASURES MORE THAN 90 DEGREES
