If two lines are perpendicular, their slopes are negative reciprocals.
so, perpendicular line will have slope m%5Bp%5D=-1%2Fm which is m%5Bp%5D=-1%2F0
The slope of a vertical line is undefined because anything divided by zero is undefined.
only one vertical line passes through given point (-4,8) will is perpendicular to y=7, and that is x=-4
