If the length on the top and the length on the bottom
are as you have indicated,
(1(x+9)/3 = (x-(1/2)
---
x+9 = 3x-(3/2)
2x = 10.5
x = 5.25
---
Then the length is x-1/2 = 5.25-(1/2) = 4.75
and the width is x/4 = 5.25/4 = 1.3125
