Question 730317: There are 6 times as many dimes as quarters, and 6 times as many nickels than quarters. If you have $5.70, how much money do you have in quarters? Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
Not possible. No solution. If you have 5 quarters then you must have 30 dimes and 30 nickels. That adds up to $5.75. If you have 4 quarters then you must have 24 dimes and 24 nickels. That adds up to $4.60. $5.70 can't happen.
