You can put this solution on YOUR website!
State the period of the following functions:
a) y= -2sec(πx/2)
Period = 2pi/b = (2pi)/(pi/2)) = 4/pi^2
---------------------------
b) y= 1/2sec(πx/2)
{
Period = (2pi)/(p/2) = 4/pi^2

For any function y = Asec(Bx-C)+D the period is 2pi%2FB.

For y=-2sec%28pi%2Ax%2F2%29 B is pi%2F2 so the period is 2pi%2F%28pi%2F2%29+=+2pi%2A2%2Fpi=4

For y=+%281%2F2%29%2Asec%28pi%2Ax%2F2%29 B is pi%2F2 so the period is 2pi%2F%28pi%2F2%29+=+2pi%2A2%2Fpi=4
