Question 72984: Find the slope.
–7x + 2y = 2
Answer by uma(370) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given -7x + 2y = 2
Adding 7x to both the sides,
-7x + 7x + 2y = 7x + 2
==> 2y = 7x + 2
==> y = 7x/2 + 2/2 [dividing both the sides by 2]
==> y = (7/2)*x + 1
This is of the form y = mx + c where m is the slope.
Thus the slope of the given line is (7/2)
Good Luck!!!
