Question 729405: hello :) I don't know how to find the complement or supplement for this problem:
angle ABC= 57 degrees, what is it's complement? I thought you had to divide pi by 2 and then multiply that number by 57 to get the complement, but that keeps coming out wrong. And I thought to get the supplement you had to just multiply the angle by 3.14 but that seems to be wrong too. Help please? Thanks Answer by checkley79(3341) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! COMPLEMENTARY ANGLES ADD UP TO 90 DEGREES.
SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLES ADD UP TO 180 DEGREES.
57+X=90
X=90-57
X=23 DEGREES ANS. FOR THE COMPLEMENT.
57+X=180
X=180-57
X=123 DEGREES ANS. FOR THE SUPPLEMENT.
