Question 729387: Good morning,
Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.
If a ball is dropped from the top of a 360-foot building, then the formula h(t) = 360 – 16t2 expresses its height h(t) in feet as a function of the time t in seconds. Find h(3), the height of the ball 3 seconds after it is dropped.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just substitute t=3 into h%28t%29+=+360+%96+16t%5E2 to get
h%283%29+=+360+%96+16%2A3%5E2 --> h%283%29+=+360+%96+16%2A9 --> h%283%29+=+360+%96+144 --> highlight%28h%283%29+=+216%29
Three seconds after being dropped the ball is 216 feet above the ground.
