You can put this solution on YOUR website! Exponential-and-logarithmic-functions/728827 (2013-03-20 22:51:59):
10^(a)=1.1(10^(5))
Now given argument is
10^(a)=1.1(10^5)
taking log on both sides
Log{10^(a)}=log(1.1)+{log(10^5)}
a*log(10)=log(1.1)+5*log(10) (log10=1)
a*1=.041392+5*1 l0g(1.1)=0.041392
a=5.041392
10^5.041392=110000 & 1.1(10^5)=1.1*100000=110000
