Question 728632: i was given the following input/output table but i couldn't figure out the rule for it. i also know that if you were to graph this relation there would be no slope. what is the rule?
input----> output
-3----> 0.0016
-2----> 0.008

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the input is +n+,
the output is +5%5E%28n-1%29+
------------------------
check:
+n+=+-2+
+5%5E%28-2-1%29+=+5%5E%28-3%29+
+1%2F%285%5E3%29+=+1%2F125+
+1%2F125+=+.008+
OK

--------------
output = 5^(input - 1)
------------------
There is a slope, but it's different at each point.
