I learned this in general chemistry!
Type I: To see a pattern when there is not one.
Type II: To not see a pattern when there is one.
Type I Example: Bob thinks he sees a tiger when it is just the wind.
Type II Example: Bob thinks he just hears the wind when a tiger jumps out and eats him.
