You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the equilibrium point for the following:
D(p)= 132 - 13p
and
S(p) = 86 + 10p
:
That occurs when S(p) = D(p)
Therefore:
86 + 10p = 132 - 13p at equilibrium
:
10p + 13p = 132 - 86
:
23p = 46
:
p = 46/23
:
P = 2
:
:
Check, prove that p=2 produces equilibrium:
86 + 10(2) = 132 - 13(2)
86 + 20 = 132 - 26
106 = 106
