If the x's are multiplication symbols (I'm assuming there are only y's as variables) when multiplying variables with exponents you add the exponents.

y%5E%283%2B3%2B1%29When multiplying numbers with exponents, add the exponents. Remember with y alone there's an exponent of 1 y=y%5E1
y%5E7There's your answer.

y^3 means y*y*y; the 3 indicates you have 3 Y's to multiply
So y^3*y^3*y means you have 3 y's then 3 more y's then 1 y
That makes 7 y^2 to multiply or y^7

So y^3*y^3*y=y^7
Notice you can find the exponent of the answer by adding the exponents
of the factors: 3 + 3 + 1 = 7
