You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A is locked in. So there are 2 slots/tickets left and 4 people left to fill them.

So there are 4 C 2 = (4!)/(2!*(4-2)!) = (24)/(2*2) = 6 ways to do this.

This means that there are 1*(4 C 2) = 6 ways to select 3 people where A is one of those people.

This is out of 5 C 3 = (5!)/(3!*(5-3)!) = 10 ways to select 3 people (out of 5)

So the probability is 6/10 = 3/5

The answer as a fraction is 3/5

The answer as a decimal is 0.6

The answer as a percent is 60%
