been trying to figure it out over here. but it just doesn't make sence to me

It's graph:

3x+4y=-4
It's a straight line so you need 2 points.
Solve for either x or y, I'll solve for y
3x+4y=-4
4y = -3x - 4
y = -3x/4 - 1

Pick 2 values for x and find y
x = 0, y = -1 --> (0,-1) 1st point
x = 4, y = -4 --> (4,-4) 2nd point

Plot the 2 points, draw a line thru them.

It's a good idea to do 3 points. If the line doesn't go thru all 3, you've made a mistake on one of the 3, and you need to check it.
