Question 726501: I made a word problem and I don't think the equation is right. Would you please check it for me?
If Taco John has a �75 Taco Tuesday special, then how much money would they make selling tacos in an 8 hour period.
The function would be: m = 8t * .75
m = the money made, and t = tacos sold. t = -2

If t is tacos sold then the correct equation is m = .75t.

If t is tacos sold per hour, then your equation is correct. The problem becomes "If Taco John has a .75 Taco Tuesday special, and sells t tacos per hour, then how much money would Taco John make in an 8 hour day?"
