DIVIDE BOTH SIDES OF 3(X-3)=37 BY 3
3(X-3)/3=37/3
3/3=1
X-3=37/3
ADD 3 TO BOTH SIDES
X+(3-3)=37/3+3
3-3=0
X=37/3+3
PUT 37/3+3 OVER THE COMMON DENOMINATOR 3..
37/3+3=37/3+3X3/3
X=37/3+3X3/3
3X3=9
X=37/3+9/3
37/3+9/3=37+9/3
X=37+9/3
37+9=46
X=46/3
TO THE SIMPLEST TERM IS 15 1/3
