I got stuck at 2 - tan^2 z = 1 - tan^2 z
How do I get rid of the 2? Please help me and explain. Thank you. Answer by lynnlo(4176) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! PROBLEM:
2-sec^2z=1-tan^2x
MOVE "2" TO THE RIGHT OF THE EQUATION
-sec^2z+2=1-tan^2x
MOVE "1"TO THE RIGHT OF THE EQUATION
-sec^2z+2=-tan^2x+1
MOVE TAN ^2X AND -1 TO THE LEFT
-sec^2z+2+tan^2x-1=0
ADD FRACTIONS OR INTEGERS TOGETHER
-sec^2z+1+tan^2x=0
MOVE "1" TO THE RIGHT OF EQUATION
-sec^2z+tan^2x+1=0
