Question 72606: Please help me! I don't understand this at all!! I have been out of school sick for the past 2 weeks and i don't understand all this homework that my teacher sent home with me.
The questions ask to write an equation, in slope-intercept form..
my question is how to put it into an equation.
if the question is:
slope of -2/5 and y-intercept of 3
PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS ANSWER!! If i can be able to understand this question then it will help me do all of my homework. PLEASE, PLEASE help me.

graph crosses.

In this case you are given that the slope (m) is which means that for every 5 units
you go horizontally to the right, the graph drops vertically 2 units. (It drops because of
the minus sign. If the slope were a positive value , then for every 5 units you go
horizontally to the right, you would go vertically up 2 units.)

So all you need to do to answer this question is to go to the standard slope intercept
