Question 725986: Use the intercepts to graph the equation
5x+3y = 15

Use the graph to graph the line if only one intercept exists use it and another point to form a line
I know I need to put it into Y=Mx+B format for slope...

I got Y= 5/x x +15

If I'm right then how do you make the X and Y intercepts happen?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The intercepts are when x =0 and when y =0.
y intercept
y=mx+b
if x=0 then y=b
b is the y intercept
You don't need to change the form
5x+3y=15
let x=0
3y=15
y=5
(0,5)
x intercept
5x+3y=15
let y=0
5x=15
x=3
(3,0)
now plot the graph
using those two points
