Question 725400: The planet Mars has two moons: Phobos and Delmos. The larger of the moons, Phobos, orbits around Mars about 24 times in 8 days. About how many time will Phobos orbit around Mars in 7 days? Answer by AmparoV(10) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The moon Phobos orbits 24 times in eight days. Well first you would need to figure out how many times it orbits in 1 day. To do that I would divide 24 by 8 to get 3. Now since we know that it orbits 3 times a day we can times that by 7 because you wanna know how many times it orbits in 7 days. 7x3 is 21. Your answer would be 21.
Hope this helps.
